Don't Wait
Hi Everyone,
I'll keep this week's posting a short, but nonetheless very important one.
You may or may not have heard the tragic news this week about the sudden death of actor Liam Neeson's actress wife Natasha Richardson. For those who didn't hear, she was learning how to ski on the bunny slopes when she simply fell and hit her head...on SNOW! Immediately, she got up and told everyone she was fine. A few hours later, she began complaining of a headache, then was taken to the hospital. A few days later she was taken from life support and died. She was only 45.
Although I'm not a huge Liam Neeson fan, or even really ever heard of Natasha, the importance of this event is HUGE! We NEVER know when our time or the time of our loved ones will happen. We tend to take for granted there will always be a tomorrow, a tomorrow to apologize, a tomorrow to say I love you....tomorrow doesn't always come.
For you, this week, I strongly encourage taking some extra time to appreciate everyone who has made and continues to make an impact in your life. Furthermore, if there is someone from the past you need to reconcile with, please take the time because once they are gone you never get it back. Plain and simple - regrets SUCK!
As always, live each day with a supreme appreciation for what it has in store for you. For the opportunities right there for your taking. The decision is all yours - to be a great day or to be...whatever you decide.
All my best to you and your family!
Christopher
